Crazy…this man is amazing… I wrote my paper in psychology on this man and the way he's changed the psychology of the way people think in sports.
Russ for MVP!!!!!
Dawg the ravens won against the 9ers in 2013 SB
Seahawks won it in 2014
Amazing summary
We know that guy!
please ditch the crap background beats
When did Meditation become Mindfulness?
Life Changing Stuff hats off to Pete Carrol for recognizing the importance of this stuff before it became the norm
Should have ran the ball
It's "Sport Psychologist", not "Sports Psychologist". The way you have it written translates to a psychologist for the study of sports (demographics, populations, academia, sport management, sociology) but with the correct title, it is a psychologist within the sport. This is like calling long snappers as centers. Little semantics in titles can mean a huge difference in roles.
this video is AMAZING
Studying to do exactly this! only 5 more years to go *tears*.
This is a gem
This dude is taking the principals of Eastern Spiritual practices (breathing meditation and Vipassana meditation) and renaming them into some form of Western cognitive-behavioral therapy. I mean come on dude, if you are going to appropriate a culture, please give credit to said culture. He’s taking the Western cognitive-behavioral stance rather than giving the proper credit. Why am I not surprised. When I saw sports psychologist, I though, hum, this looks interesting, let me check it out. But now disappointed. Then had the nerve to say hippy-dippy spiritual as a mock. Geesh!!
this is a great video. informative and engaging. love this.
Does anyone know what the paper is he’s talking about when talking about optimism please?
Is it just me or does he look a bit like Tom Cruise?
Jimmy johnson should also be in this video. He graduated in psychology. How he worked with charles hayle is an awesome example of his skill.
this guy is describing Vipassana meditation, which is a central tenet of Buddhism. its nice that he's found out about it and is helping the Seahawks to win the football through its use. It's too bad he forgot to give credit where credit is due. so i'll do it for him, thanks Buddha.
All of these things(and Todd Gurley, Russel wilson, Bennet, and Earl Thomas) and you will find success lol
Great vid!
Scott dissick really turned it around
If this guy could follow me around and gas me up all day every day, that would be great.
Help Lebron make his foul shots.
Thanks for this video, well made and super informative for sports fans who want to go deeper
2:30 the ravens won the superbowl? never happened the ravens beat the niners in 2013 to win the superbowl.
I was hoping he had a book available but didn't find one.
Didn’t know that Tom Cruise was a psychologist
This is Buddhism 101. He keeps talking about research and university studies when people have been doing this for 1500 years.
how did he get the sub speciality ?
his chin is thiccc
Well someone is gettting rich, licensed to steal oriental philosophy and práctice, make degrading coments about it but charging to do so.
Every vídeo was great except this… Don't know how to call it better.
