I did not like this speech. I follow Richards work and it is a bit surprising to me that he likes the idea of feminine-masculine polarity so much. In my opinion people are not allowed to be themselves. As a man you are neither allowed to be feminine or masculine. You have to be something in the middle. You can't just be yourself. The same is true for people who are not men.
I want to tell about my background. I have always had good relationships with men, I really love art featuring gay men, but as a woman I am homosexual and very comfortable with my gender. Not even once have I thought "I don't want to be a woman". I never sympathized with radical feminism as I try to stay neutral when it comes to gender issues. Now, you are telling me that I have to be a part of this "ying-yang" system… How exactly does this system fit me? I am homosexual, and despite my good relationship with men I prefer female friends. This is all ying? So apperantly I lack yang in my life? I also am independent in character. Are you trying to say that this is "toxic yang"? "animus possesion"? I actually feel very comfortable, I do not think that I am possesed by anything… This whole "ying-yang" ideology is heteronormative Richard. You need to drop it. If you want to be a masculine men that is cool. But do not tell me what I need to be as a woman.

As a woman I deeply relate. I have hurt men when I felt powerless as I thought they are not as deeply hurt (i.e. I have no influence or power over them).

I do believe we are androgenous throught (can't spell this word either) – as we have both yin and yang.

I am whole today as I am developing my moral philosophy and living it, as a woman. I integrate dancing and emotional literacy too.

As a woman, (YouTube name isn’t my name) I was feeling scared about what he was going to say. I’m glad I stuck around to listen to this gentleman, because he is 100% right.

Interestingly, the word virtue comes from Latin word vir, which translates to ‘man'. Something to think about. 🙂

Min 43.00 so true, It is so nice to be in Italy, men there are not hiding that they find a woman attractive, they say it, they show it in the way they look at you, they are not creepy, they do respect your boundaries but they show how much they appreciate a woman… Wonderful feeling…. then you come to Scandinavia… In Italy you feel like a woman, like a Queen, in Scandinavia you feel like a neutron.

I absolutely love the direction that the 21 convention is moving in. No bitterness, no victimhood, just positive masculinity. Richard is a master orator and exceptionally insightful.

I haven't even begun watching yet, but Richard Grannon is a life-raft to the PTSD community. It can be hard to find someone warm, credible, practical, and humane when you have this (and are not a veteran). He is doing a world of good for people and is a beacon of light and wisdom! This disorder needs more study, public education, and resources. Richard is paving the way, and I thank him so much for his presence and all the work he's done. He is a true leader.

Women who have been commenting how great Richard is, did you notice how he said the that IQ level of the people at the manosphere is much higher than what he's used to dealing with? Who is he used to dealing with that has a lower IQ? Well as he always says himself most of his viewers are female. If that went over your head then I guess he must be right.

Richard Granon is a male chauvinist amongst other things so I'm not surprised by his comment indirectly insinuating women are dumb nor to see him at this event.
Over the years he has suggested a narcissistic abuse recovery channel for men only and also this manosphere thing on a talk show where the presenter asked him if "adultosphere" would be a better term.

I think the Islamic sufi teachings he's into might be influencing him.

And for all his using other people's stuff like Peter Walker to create his content, his very large following never seems to recover.

He's obviously got issues with females. Maybe if he manages to truly heal himself he'll be able to finally truly help people heal.

The inner Mussolini – yes . seen it frequently . I find it amazing that many men LOVE to watch it , almost like they are taking notes , but after a while , it becomes so so fatiguing . The husband just wants comfort , quiet and healing . My def of Narcissism is un integrated dualistic personality disorder . Women like this ruin it for those of us who are actually being real women , quietly and calmly . The men seem to prefer those women , which I call "Helmet Heads " – the hairstyle of choice . I find most political players , are using the "I am a woman" card , but they are not women at all, they don't even know the tinyest bit of what it means to be a female . What is amazing to me, is having these women turn on me , they are the first to side with whatever force is trying to destroy me, and back the violence up . Have had that happen a few times . I love the idea that philosophy is the point of spinning the story to make it be what you want it to be . I have , as a female, had to use philosophy , like breastfeeding , La Leche League said " People before Things " and that simple philosophy , was reliable in raising my kids , and I still apply it now . Then, I transitioned from material property , to intellectual property shift , – Now I am , as a song writer , writing a drop of philosophy into everything I do . This was a list I recently put together to get something done . Sorry for talking so much here , but I just am getting a lot of help from listening to this , Richard Grannon , you are a hero – thank you for doing the work you are doing . Your analysis of the situation , especially bringing in tribalism , is spot on . Looking forwards to following your work , now and in the future . PS the internalized inner persona , I call "the inner bitch" and "the inner mussolini" – I love it that you are using the word integration . This is excellent thinking .

A – Meet where everybody is AT
B – Stick to the script
    C- Clarify the Pictogram
D – Get a little philosophical at the end

There is so much unresolved trauma affecting quality of life of so many people. I have PTSD, am fighting it, and knowledge & discussion is power. Trauma's worst enemy is a well-informed survivor.

Great video. It is so true a healthy relationship between a daughter and father just like a healthy relationship between a mother and son is so important. We are not meant to hate the opposite sex (for the wrong doings of your father). It's sad and I will fight for love in a healthy way. Thanks Richard

It is great but he still in the game of the Ego, philosophy and samurais ended very bad. Bruce lee was based upon Krishnamurti a very enlightenment person. We have to find a way of enlighten masculinity and not traditional masculinity.

Richard the view you have is limited, we are not rejecting, we are accepting all of what we are, for the first time I think. it's causing a huge reaction in the spiritual realm. in order for the truth to be told, it had to be told on a computer, so people could stand the pain of it. and not take it all in so personally. anything we are enduring right now is the pains of childbirth. the behavior and fruit of narcissism. people will choose well if given the choice. not all but more and more once they learn that what they want is love more than money, looks, being cool, things in general or power. but instead cooperation, compassion, gentleness, kindness, trust in the power of love, instead of thinking and feeling that fear and paranoia are stronger. love is not blind, not weak, not deaf, not outside or in, its all things working together for love. inside and out. listening, seeing, hearing, understanding, validating, sharing pain instead of scapegoating it or numbing it. things like narcissism comes from the scars not being touched, abuse comes from thinking they have no effect on others. who has the power, your loving care, or clockwork orange and silence of the lambs? I think you do. it took us thousands of years to get here, be patient, please. things are getting better, we just have to go thru being done with a few things first. I'm not sure what all that is yet. I want it all to be done now too. all the answers, all the pain/blame/shame/guilt, but mostly seeing others hurt is the worst. seeing people think so poorly of themselves and others. including myself. but I would rather die believing in a better future coming from and honest present. than any of this apocalyptic ideology I have had to put up within the media, the loss of innocents in the children, its a war on this a war on that, now you say its a war on men. if that is so, then most of history has been a war on women. anyway, there is the whole seek and ye shall find and the law of attraction thing. and just as things were getting better, solar cars being made womans rights gay rights, children's rights, a black president. everything hit the fan. and I think its because of the newfound freedom we have now. with it comes the truth about racists, woman-haters, both of which I know your not. abuses of powers. we need to learn to protect those who know nothing about fighting and hate. I think the racists are haters because they really think the race they hate is better than their own. someone who is not threatened would not be bothered. and they don't want whatever truth about them to be known. all of us are like that. if true trauma, internal trauma, the kind of betrayals that rip the heart soul and mind can be dealt with and healed, soon, parents and partners, friends, family, and so on would be trustworthy again. the future is in the hands of those who will not allow abusers in power. or at least stay in power once known. i live alone and listen to you and others, haven't talked to anyone in weeks. so i guess i just needed to share a little. love you.
