Cant wait to see your reaction to the next part when she describes the abuse at the camps in detail. Its so unbelievable that places like these exist. I wonder if they took legal action, sounds like she didn't. But they should these places need to be shut down!!
How do you find a person who is knowledgeable in trama? What kind of questions would one ask?
Had it been a different director, Paris may have never told her story. She said originally the documentary was going to be about her business empire but because of how much she trusted the director along the way, that made her want to open up.
All I can think of is her ex fiancé having having that huge tattoo of her name
Enjoying this series. Thank you for posting on consecutive days.
It makes me so hopefull you have an open mind and actually listen to your cliënts, not just simply relying on book-knowledge. Thank you!
Hi Dr. Honda, would you ever do a video about a vlogger on YouTube?
There's this girl Amberlyn Reed who was trying to lose weight for years but seems to be gaining and getting much worse health wise. The comment section on her videos is absolutely heartbreaking and I would just love to see someone react to her with the empathy you react to people… I think it might help her to not get attacked all the time.
Yesss I was waiting for part 4. Finished parts 1-3 yesterday
You are a beautiful man. Thank you for your time and money and effort. You are a great person. My heart has been heavy and stomach lives in knots. I have spent 38 years getting more and more in destressful state and not understanding what was happening. This is why I love the world wide web. It connects people who have understanding with those who need it.
therapist without trauma knowledge is like physicians who don't get trained in nutrition.
in most cases food and lifestyle plays bigger role than genes, without addressing it and offering solutions you're just treating the symptoms. same with therapy; without addressing trauma history, you're just working on the surface. ignoring the actual cause of suffering causes more suffering which creates an endless cycle for patients. no wonder why getting therapy is not people's first choice to get help with emotional distress.
I have to say I enjoyed these videos about Paris documentary I didn’t plan to see it at first but after watching the previous three videos I saw the actual documentary and I really appreciate you for giving us your professional opinion
I don’t mean to this to be judgmental even though it sounds that way.
I am truly surprised 😮that with all their money they haven’t gotten more therapy and self help.
Spend the money in college or some other self development.
Paris dumbed herself down for the world 🌎. I am not impressed. Where was her dad to feed her self esteem?
I'm not the expert….. but I that most people who've been traumatized to the extent as Paris would have a lot of rage underneath the baby voice.
I am loving this series!! Can’t wait for the next post!! It’s so obvious poor Paris is on a mouse wheel from all of her trauma. She needs her family to genuinely love her and they need to attend family therapy together to help her heal.
You are awesome and I am grateful for your videos. No matter the topic you find the humanity and depth of everyone.
Y’all are sleeping on Bread Knife Incident. They’re 🔥. Look them up and support Dr. Kirk’s music.
When her mother said "yeah it better you but it was are our way of saving you" she was so indifferent and detach it just disturbing and disgusting.
Damn Dr.Kirk talking about how parents can turn off their love for their child to "save them" really hit some traumas 😔
Waiting for the next part eagerly
Im so happy you’re reacting to this, and always love what you have to say! Would love to be one of your clients lol
Dr. Honda, you should review the movie "Beautiful Boy". It deals with addiction and I wonder what you would have to say based on what the movie portrays.
Would you like to analyze 'anti' Greta? (She didn't give herself that name) would be interesting, like her way of she speaks which words she is using. 😉
Do a Teal Swan analysis
The boyfriends behavior is common is emotionally/mentally abusive relationship. He is acting in a way to purposefully try to sabotage her set yet blames her for his behavior.
If only every American could get this kind of help…
I think it’s cause he is her guess and probably didn’t get there on his own accord.
“….some of them don’t know that they don’t know about trauma.” Man, if that ain’t the truth! 💯
Thank you for acknowledging that!
I get some sort of comfort just watching your channel. It sure is a million time’s better than any therapists office that I’ve ever sat in, and oh how many I have! 😒
16:10–16:13 😂
He stopped at the most important part – the interviewer goes on to ask the mom if she knew they put Paris in solitary confinement… She looked shocked and said no. I'm guessing she didn't know about the beatings either. I can't imagine being so disconnected to your own child like that. "Just send them away, they'll fix them." Gross.
"Many therapists are not specialised in trauma and some of them DON'T KNOW that they don't know about trauma." !!! Such a breath of fresh air! Yes, this is so true! Being trained as an integrative psychotherapist, now looking back, I can't believe how it was even possible to not start my course with at least an introduction to trauma 🙄 I'm so grateful to Dr Gabor Mate, who popularised the subject in the past few years!!💗
And I definitely learn a lot from your channel. Thank you!! 🌈
to me it seems like she is repeating with her boyfriends what's done to her by her parents because that's the only way love was shown to her. when her parents felt threatened by her they used their power over her. she might be finding 'troublesome' man subconsciously to create the same scenario of herself being a 'troubled kid' and her parents controlling her because they 'love' her… it might be the only expression of love she might have learned and got stuck…
Uff american a and western sociaty is Just totaly creepy. No more value the people are changeable. No respect no Listening, no seen other neds.Only this egocentric materilistic mindset witch make people separete and make lonely. I truly sorry about her. Wish that she can find true realitinship friends partner. But she can change this only her. With a lot of therapy and change mindset. What is really important in our life. We are such a short time ön the earth try to look for the reál value. I wish the best For her!!!
🙉 What is the point of Therapy? To get a stranger to form an OPINION about your life?? 🙉
Alex is the definition of a guy with mommy issues and insecure.
If you had literally watched 2 seconds more of the video, that long speech towards the end would have been answered, jezz! Trying to watch him see this through is like getting a route canal. He makes good points but LOOK AT THE FRIGGING VIDEO, then make your judgements!
can you talk about how there isn't access to proper mental health resources due to the U.S. healthcare system? and maybe other methods of getting help. (some people can't afford therapy or meds)
