Thank you for such a potentially transformational concept that I will immediately be applying as an educator! I have been engaged in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for almost 20 years; I am a study and practitioner of Zen principles; I am my middle school's PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention System) coordinator. Positive psychology contains the best elements of therapy, Zen, and PBIS! I am so excited to apply these principles toward my students' life-long success!!! Thank you again.

Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha School, saving people, that is based on the principles of the Universe:

    真 Truthfulness
    善 Compassion
    忍 Forbearance

It teaches elevation of one's moral character. Since 1999 it has been brutally persecuted by the CCP in China. Good people are being tortured, raped, killed, force-fed, deprived of sleep and have organs harvested from simply because their spiritual belief. Millions practitioners were killed by the evil CCP.

It is brilliant to have such a perfect short summary about decades of research. Sorry that the quality of voice makes the whole information somehow questionable. Positive Psychology is about the willingness to discover our strengths, willingness to take our life into our hands and open up our eyes to see the reality. I am working with the elements os PP since 10 years with business clients, and it works.

sorry but there is no foundation to all the elements mentioned in this video.
You may follow every word he says but at the end, happiness is not something we own or something we can create or develope.
    Its a gift…
I can give u an example, i was looking at a picture of a some kids in a ware zone with the biggest smile and they seemed so happy while they were hungry, homeless in some camp, probably no lost their families, just tragic, Yet, smiling. A GIFT!

positive psychology is all about self delusion. Delude yourself happy. A kind of self programming or self brainwashing.

Excellent video !  Cela se rapproche beaucoup de l'approche du boudhiste sur la vie.  Pourquoi ce qui apparait simple est si difficile pour certain.  Est-ce manque de motivation de changer un conditionnement qui n'a plus sa place ?

We want to use this video for a college course in Psychology at Santa Rosa Junior College. Would you please grant us permission to caption the video so it has punctuation and clear sentences? If you turn on Community Contributions in YouTube, we could add the better captions to these videos. Alternatively, we can send you a corrected caption file that you can upload in YouTube. One more option is to use a site such as Amara.org that will embed the video and give us an interface to overlay the video with the better caption file.

All of these options leave the control in your hands. If you take down the video, it will no longer appear in the course, we will just be embedding from YouTube, not downloading the video.
